Festive Workshop: Candle Making

After a successful workshop last Christmas, Brûler Candles is back with another candle making workshop🕯️Brûler, a luxury Soy candle company based in East London will be hosting this 2 hour workshop, where you'll be able to make your own festive Christmas candle to take home with you or even perhaps give it as a gift to someone special 🎁

As well as making your own candle, Founder Danielle, will also be sharing her knowledge on her journey into candle making and share some tips and tricks of the craft 💡

All materials + one drink (mulled wine, beer or spirit mixer) included! 🍷

Food will also be available to purchase from our Christmas market! 🍔🥨🥙

Festive Workshop: Japa Mala Making

In this workshop, we will learn how to make traditional Japa Mala bead necklaces with a modern twist and explore the different ways to use them while meditating.

At the end of the workshop, you will have your unique Japa mala beads and we will close the workshop with a short 20 minutes meditation

What is Japa mala?

Japa Mala or Mala beads are a simple yet powerful string of prayer beads that Buddhists and Yogis have used for hundreds of years to count mantras and prayers. Japa is the meditation technique used with Malas to calm the mind. They’re powerful tools that can help guide and enhance mindfulness practices.

You can use mala beads in various ways during meditation, such as breath control and mantra repetition.

What do you need?

You don’t need to bring anything. We will provide all the materials but if you have specific beads or stones that you want to use feel free to bring them.

Festive Workshop: Sustainable Tinsel

Join CND Studio to make some sustainable Christmas tinsel for your home. Ditch the plastic and create something unique and personal to you 🧵

This truly sustainable and circular craft is fun and easy. No sewing skills needed, just the ability to use scissors and tie a knot.✂️ Design and colour are up to you and there will be plenty to choose from. Once you know how to do this you can continue making more at home or share the skill with your friends. Suitable for ages 8+ but under 12's must be accompanied by an adult.

Come along, bring a friend and get ready for some plastic free fun! ✨
