Aba Shanti was born in Hackney and over the last 35 years has been playing his sound system across the four corners of the earth chanting the words of the Most High (H.I.M.) and spreading his word sound of peace and love to the world. Resident at Notting Hill Carnival since 1993, we are blessed to witness an intimate performance from the man himself. Hear the music & feel the vibes!
He’ll be joined by the rising stars of the next generation of roots music: Oscillation, Kaya M & MC Dee:
🔊 Oscillation is a trio of record collectors born and bred in South London, Oscillation good vibration.
🔊 Kaya M (Kane FM) has made a great mark with her bold sets, honing in on rocksteady, ska, and early stepper's with soulful blends from the 60’s to 90’s.
🔊 Joined by MC Dee, a reggae singer as part of Arrival Sound and regularly on Roots Garden Sound System. In the dance he brings a conscious, storytelling way to the microphone, warming people with lyrics of perseverance and strongly rooted values.
